2nd Hand Uniforms and Lost Property

As the school year draws to a close, we wanted to express our sincere gratitude for your overwhelming support in making the Second Hand Uniform sales a tremendous success. Throughout the year, the uniforms donated by MPS families allowed us to help around 1350 items of clothing find new homes, through five general sales and three Prep Transition Day sales. This collective effort not only promoted sustainability by recycling used uniforms, but also added just over $6800 to our school's fundraising endeavors.

Mark your calendars for the first Second Hand Uniform sale of 2024, scheduled for Tuesday, February 13th. We look forward to another year of collaboration and sustainability.

Lost Property

With the warmer comes the huge piles of lost property. These bins were emptied late last week and are already overflowing. 

We do our best to return items to students however would like your support in reminding your child / children to pick up their jumpers etc when they are outside playing and before they go inside again. 

The school hats are lost property. They are not in the bins for the students to grab when they are out playing because they don’t have a hat. This is a much needed reminder. Students must wear hats outside please. 

Labelling

Please label all uniform items, lunch boxes and drink bottles.  Labels need to clearly show your child’s first name + surname or first initial + surname if you can’t fit the full detail on the tag.
