Celebrating Learning

This fortnight we’ve continued on with our Aesop Fables in Main Lesson. We’ve read The Dog and the Bone, The Lion and the Mouse, The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Sun and the North Wind. 

During Practice times, students have been creating their own Aesop Fables, which have had some incredible morals. They’ve also created animals from clay based on Aesop’s Fables and we’ll be painting these next week once they dry. 

In Maths we’ve been exploring place value into the ten thousands value through modelling and games. Students have continued to practise representing two, three and four-digit numbers in various ways.
