Celebrating Learning

We have just finished our form drawing main lesson. This was a great vehicle for the children to practise their handwriting, but also mistake making, perseverance and practice. The safety found in simply drawing different levels of challenging lines saw struggle and then improvement as they practised and moved through the initial difficulties. 

We are now deep into our second main lesson of the year ‘The Lost Song’ in which the children will explore different vowel digraphs and sentences through images and story. 

Skipping has continued to be the highlight for many of our class, teachers included, so we're definitely going to keep that up!
