School Council

Kii TPS community,

We are looking forward to the outcome of the school council election process and welcoming two new parent members. Please remember to check out the candidate statements that went home with the eldest child on Monday and submit your ballots by Monday 26th February 4pm. We would also like to thank the school councillors completing their terms this year including Steph Millar, Jill Sparrow, James Crafti and Sonja Dechian.

While that more formal process is underway, we are also calling out to people to get involved in other ways. These include subcommittees, class carer, and other in-school volunteer roles. 

Subcommittees include:

Finance: monitoring budgets and developing finance related policies

Social: organising our social events including fundraising

Masterplan and Grounds: maintaining and improving buildings and grounds

Education Policy: developing education policies

Keep an eye out for more announcements relating to subcommittees including an opportunity to discuss what is involved at the upcoming BBQ.

Our first BBQ will be held on Friday 15th March, with all the usual fixtures including sausages (meat and veg), cake stall and plant stall. Your help is welcome! Keep a look out for the sign-up link on the posters and on compass!

The first Working Bee is the next day, Saturday 16th March.
