A Message from David

Dear parents and carers,

School Council this week endorsed the schematic design stage of the school upgrade. This part of the design process involved more detailed architectural drawings including landscaping options. The architects, AOA Christopher Peck have consulted widely and recently met with all staff to seek input and feedback on the design. The masterplan is on display in the office foyer for anyone interested in seeing what has been developed.

The next phase of the upgrade project will commence when the promised funding is secured at a state budget in the next three years. We are hopeful that this happens this year.

STEM community event

The introduction of STEM has been incredibly positively received by students in years 3 to 6. Our STEM teacher, Josh Vella, has developed a highly engaging program with a focus for the year on building engineering and coding skills. A STEM community event is planned for the last week of term and will profile the learning as well as providing engaging and interactive experiences for those attending. More details of the event will be released in coming weeks.

School council election reminder

Ballot papers need to be returned to the school office by 4pm on Monday 26th February.
