Team of the Week: 1st Cricket Team
Last Saturday the 1st XI went off to Bathurst to face Stannies in what ended up being a fighting win. After losing the toss and being sent into bowl Lachlan Jurcevic and Lucas Gleeson both bowled great figures of 3-19. Pius were sent into bat with a target of 137, after some early trouble Vice-Captain Pat Frost (50*) and Luke Austin (34*) took it on themselves to build a game-winning partnership and scoring the winning runs, with Pius ending up 5-143 after 39 overs.
