We had a great time at the farm last week and cannot wait for our 2nd excursion to the zoo! A reminder that it is on Wednesday the 22nd November.
Please ensure that your child is at school at 8:30am so that everyone is ready and nobody misses out.
In terms of what to bring, it is the same as the farm: a small backpack with their lunchbox, drink bottle and school hat. No need for school bags or blue folders.
On Friday 1st December, we have a Christmas Pantomime (a play) coming to our school! Payment for this will be up on QKR very soon so please keep an eye out. Your teacher will send you an email when it is ready.
The last day students will bring home take home readers will be Tuesday 28th November. This gives the Library the time they need to organise books for next year. Your child's reader folder and blue folder will remain at school so we can pass this on to their Grade 1 teacher.
This doesn't mean reading can stop though! We have the PM online books which are the same level as the books your child has been taking home, as well as visiting your local library to borrow.
On Friday 15th December, VPS is very excited to be having Christmas on the Lawn!! Families are invited to come along from 4:00pm to 5:30pm to watch each year level perform a festive song! You're more than welcome to bring a picnic rug, some nibbles and enjoy this festive evening! More information will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for it!
If your child will be ending the school year early for a holiday, please let your child's teacher know as soon as possible so their work books can be organised to go home and any other little things before they go away.
We had such an amazing time at Myuna Farm this week! Here are some photos of the fun!
In Week 6, students had the opportunity to use their imagination and write about dinosaurs in the playground! Here are some of their amazing and creative pieces of writing!
