This term, the Indigenous Program attended the Koorie Career Expo for our KELiS gathering. It was a rewarding day with inspirational guest speakers AFL footballer Jarman Impey & former AFL player Glenn Manton promoting self-agency and motivation.

Our students had the opportunity to speak with many educational organisations including TAFE pathways providers, several universities and various employment agencies to find out the best way to connect to possible career pathways. They explored potential career avenues, further education, and training opportunities and took home many show bags full of information on the next steps.

The Expo was held at the Centre for Higher Education in South Yarra and was a wonderful space to see further learning facilities in action and experience post-school options in further education. It was a valuable day promoting the empowerment and success of our Koorie youth.
