Forest school

It feels more important than usual to connect with nature to ground and recharge ourselves during this intense time of the year. Many of us are tired and busy and I feel very lucky to be able to offer the children some extra time in the bushland of Middle Gully.

Forest School adventures over the past week have included: rope swings; foot spas; watching corn kernels become popcorn; cooking pancakes on the camping stove; dam exploration, play with hay bales (parkour, shelter building and obstacle courses!), rooster wrangling; whittling and water play!

Many, many thanks to the parents that have supported the program this week! (I’m looking at you Penny, River, Anna and James!)

Enjoy the photos!
