CEPS Kids are

Friendly Kids

This term we are working on Responsibility

and we are looking at:

I CAN MANAGE MY TIME WISELY

I can use my time effectively.

I finish tasks within the time given.

I arrive on time to class.

Using our time wisely is like a superpower that helps us make the most out of our school days. Picture this: juggling homework, playtime and fun activities without feeling rushed! Learning to manage our time means we can do all the things we love without stress.

Here are some tips to help you become time management experts at school and at home:

  • Make a fun schedule: Use colourful charts and stickers to create your daily plan. When you know what's happening, your day becomes a fantastic journey.
  • Set Goals: Challenge yourself with little goals each day. It could be finishing a puzzle, reading a chapter of your favourite book, or even practicing a new dance move. Set yourself goals in the classroom, “what do I want to achieve this lesson?”
  • Break Tasks into Pieces: Big tasks can be like puzzles. Break them into smaller pieces and tackle the task step by step. It makes everything much easier!
  • Use Timers: Set a timer for tasks like cleaning your room or doing homework. Can you finish before the timer rings? Challenge accepted!
  • Celebrate Your Wins: When you manage your time well, celebrate your achievements!
