Selamat Siang!

This week got off to a fantastic start for our Year 5/6 students as they had the incredible opportunity to witness (and even hold) the Premiership Cup for Women's AFL.

Throughout the term, students have diligently followed the writing process, which includes planning, drafting, editing, and finally publishing their narratives. Moreover, they have explored the concept of visual literacy, discussing how elements like colour, images, fonts, and text organisation can have an impact on the presentation of a book.

Last Friday marked the official launch of the Earn and Learn businesses. They've dedicated substantial effort to plan, design, and establish their businesses, offering a variety of products and services for sale while recording their expenses, profits, and losses using Google Sheets.

Have a wonderful week,

The cup has travelled all over Australia, it’s been to schools all over Australia including The Northern Territory, Cairns, Cape York, Tiwi Islands, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and over 50 schools - us included! We were so happy to be able to host the AFLW premiership cup, and for the sake of Mrs B: ‘Go The Blues!’

I enjoyed being in the video and to be able to see and touch it!

I enjoyed seeing the cup because it was cool.
