Camp Australia News

A message from the Spring Gully Primary School OSHC Coordinator- Kylie (She/her)

Term 4 sure has been a busy and exciting one! We've had Lego World Play Day, Spring Gully's wonderful "Be Awesome Day", Rubbish Robots, on our Pupil Free Day and Fairy Bread Day, as well as lots of other fun activities! Just this week we've been decorating our own OSHC Christmas Tree!

For Fairy Bread Day, our OSHC group donated $53 to the Pyjama Foundation, which contributes to books, games and educational resources to children in care. So, well done Spring Gully OSHC kids! We all enjoyed our fairy bread too.

Not too many sleeps left and Christmas Day will be here! Our Elf (named Chipp), has been wandering around our kitchen, hiding in all sorts of strange places. Maybe making sure that everybody is applying sunscreen before they go outside, I think? And, with Christmas quickly approaching, a call out to all children who've have been booked in to OSHC throughout the year: as of next Wednesday the 13th of December, OSHC children can have a turn at the lucky dip for a Christmas surprise.

Back to the topic of sunscreen and sun safety, please make sure to bring your sunscreen to OSHC, if you want to play in the sun, as well as a hat. The weather is very hot, and we don't want sunburn, it's never a nice experience!

Lastly, a reminder to all families wanting to book in for the holiday Rocketeers Adventures, or for Term 1 2024, jump on to: https://campaustralia.com.au, to book your place. Or alternatively, drop in to the Manya building, to find out more information, either before or after school hours.

Thank you again Spring Gully P.S., for your continued support of Camp Australia, and have a very Merry (and safe) Christmas!
