End of Year Celebrations!

Among the exams and assessments of our final week, we also took time to reflect on our fantastic year, and celebrate some of our special St Stephen's traditions, including receiving our Yearbooks, our Thanksgiving Mass, providing our hamper donations to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal, and Christmas shirt Friday!

Ms Viljoen's Year 10 Religion and Ethics class enjoyed a well-deserved party earlier in the week.

Muluridji Pastoral House had a gingerbread house-making competition - well done to Year 9 Muluridji for taking out the win!

We came together for our Thanksgiving Mass. During this Mass, we farewelled Father Robert Greenup and congratulated him on his retirement after 30 years of serving the Mareeba Parish and working with Indigenous Connections. Father Rob was an incredible advocate for the opening of St Stephen's and has ministered at our College Masses, Liturgies, Graduations and many class Masses. We also thanked and acknowledged Deacon Ralph who will retire from full-time ministry after 14 years of service to Mareeba Parish and Indigenous Connections.

We donated hampers to the Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Thank you to all families who generously contributed items for the hampers.

And after a final chance to sing 'Trust in the Lord', the Christmas Karaoke began!
