Year 11 Chemistry

It was fascinating to watch the Year 11 Chemistry students working out the concentration of ethanoic acid in supermarket vinegar recently.

They used a technique called titration to determine the concentration.

It takes careful practice to learn to use the equipment, take accurate measurements and calculate an answer.

It looks like they had lots of fun too!
