‘THANK YOU LUNCH’ FOR WPS TEACHERS AND STAFF
On Tuesday November 28, 2023 the families of Windsor Primary School are organising a catered lunch for our wonderful teachers and staff to say a huge THANK YOU for all their hard work in educating our kids this year! We are so appreciative for the dedication of our school staff!
If you would like to contribute a few dollars toward the costs of the lunch you can either give it to Mary in the office or the kids can hand it to their teachers to pass on. Simply pop it in a zip lock bag or envelope and write ‘TEACHERS LUNCH’! Please return donation by Friday November 24, 2023.

Thank you to our team who prepare and then cook the toasties each week (Courtney, Vannesa F, Elvira and Vanessa B). Also, thank you to Woolworths Prahran who donates the ingredients each week so that we can make the toasties.
NO END OF TERM BBQ
Due to a very jam-packed end of term in the classrooms this year, including our swimming program, we will not be running an End of Term BBQ this term.
PICK UP POP UP CAKE STALL - (Wednesday Dec 20 at 1.30pm)
Our Cake Stall will go ahead on the final day of the school year and we look forward to sharing some treats together on ‘The Deck’ before we all head our separate ways for a well-earned break. More details to come in the coming weeks regarding when to drop off etc.
OUR ANNUAL BLISS BALL DRIVE - YEAR 5/6 FUNDRAISER
The Bliss Ball Drive was a massive success this year, raising just under $900! We made some extra bags for the Production Night and they completely sold out. Thank you so much for the support all families have given to our Year 5/6 students with this fundraiser. All money raised will go towards the Year 6 Graduation and Excursion as well as the Grade 6 jumpers for 2024.
We want to acknowledge the help of a few of our parents that pitched in and assisted the kids in making the bliss balls. Caz, thank you for all your work behind the scenes blitzing the biscuits and apricots ready for the kids to use, we couldn’t have even started if it wasn’t for the time you took out of your nights to stand in the kitchen. Also, Elvira, Mickie and Courtney for giving up time during your week to work alongside the kids in the kitchen and help them. And Paula and Michelle Hamilton for working with the students to package and distribute them all.
A big thank you to Woolworths Prahran, Woolworths South Yarra and Coles Prahran for helping cover all our expenses, with their support all bags sold goes directly to the students fundraising fund.
THE LION TALES – BBQ and Snack Bar – Profit of $1175
To support our school production night the P&F Committee ran a BBQ dinner and sold pre-show snacks. Thank you to all WPS families and friends who supported this fundraising event by grabbing a sausage before hand and picking up a snack as you arrived for the show. We made a profit of $1175 from the food and drinks and all this money will go straight back into our Performing Arts here at WPS.
We are so thankfull to our team who gave up their time to gather supplies and then cook and serve on the night – Nick K, Jeff and Mickie E, Mejgan W, Jen B, Courtney and Michelle H and Kaye (Pepper’s Grandma), we could not have done it without your dedication!
And once again Woolworths Prahran and Mediterranean Butchers supported the night by helping with the cost of supplies, thanks a million.
