Letter to Family and Friends

Dear Pilgrim Families,
As the year draws to a close, we reflect on all that 2024 has brought to our community -moments of growth, challenge and joy. What a blessing it has been to journey together, watching our students grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, compassion, and faith.
As we approach Christmas, the season calls us to pause and consider the heart of the celebration. At its core, Christmas is a story of connection. God, in His infinite love, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to dwell among us - a powerful reminder of how deeply He desires to connect with us as His children. In Jesus, we see God reaching out to humanity, bridging the gap between heaven and earth, inviting us into relationship with Him.
This same call for connection extends to our relationships with one another. The holiday season is a perfect opportunity to nurture bonds with family and friends, to create space for meaningful moments that reflect the love we have received from God. Whether through shared meals, heartfelt conversations, or simply being present with those we care about, these acts of love mirror the connection God desires for us to experience - not just with Him, but with each other.
As we celebrate, may we also remember the simplicity and humility of Christ’s birth. In a world that often pulls us toward busyness, let us take time to slow down, reflect and find joy in the small but profound blessings around us.
To our Pilgrim families, thank you for being part of this year’s journey. Your partnership, prayers and encouragement have helped make our school a place where children truly belong, explore, flourish and serve.
May this Christmas season fill your hearts and homes with peace, joy and the hope of Emmanuel - God with us. We pray that the holidays bring you opportunities to draw closer to loved ones and to the One who loves you most.
Blessings,
Andrew Edmondson
