Year 11 Outdoor Education

Bouldering

On Thursday 31st October, students from the Year 11 OE class travelled to Myrtleford to do some bouldering at ‘Buffalo Boulders’.

Bouldering is like rock climbing but is performed on walls only a few metres high surrounded by big, foam mats. This means that ropes and harnesses are not required.

The students challenged themselves for almost two hours on climbs (or ‘problems’ as they are known) of varying difficulty. There were many sore fingertips and tired arms by the end.

A great way to cap off the year leading into exams.
