News from the Office

Photo permissions 

Students will be coming home with the new photo permissions form next week which will be replacing the yearly photo permissions given via Compass. This is in line with new requirements by the Department. Please see the attached policy for further information.

Medical Reminder

Please ensure you collect any medication from the office by the last day of the year. 

Student’s medical action plans (Asthma Action Plans, Allergy Action Plans, etc) are to be updated yearly. Please ensure that you provide us with a copy if required. 

If any medications are to be given to your child next year, a new medication authority form will also be required. Please fill out the attached form and bring along with your child’s medication at the beginning of the year.

Vegetable Garden holiday watering

We are after some families who might be around over the summer school holidays to come and water our vegetable patches!

If you are around and able to assist, please send us an email (ceres.ps@education.vic.gov.au) with your availability!

2025 Multi Sports & Dance extra curricular programs

Next year, Kelly Sports is offering Multi Sports and Dance programs after school on Wednesdays and at lunchtime on Thursdays.

2025 Booklists

As published in the last newsletter, below are the 2025 Booklist guides. We recommend purchasing these through Officeworks but you can choose any supplier you like. These items will be for your child and not shared like other classroom items. 

Please be aware that Officeworks is not an approved supplier under the SSB. For any questions or issues around the SSB please direct these to school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au

Push Mower 

We are looking to dispose of our push mower. If you would be interested in it, it is available for a donation to the school. Please contact the office if interested. 

Fresh Meal Fairy Canteen

A reminder that there will be no Fresh Meal Fairy Canteen service offered on the last day of term. 

The Friday lunch orders will return next year in Week 2 of Term 1.
