Library Update
As the end of the school year approaches, we've been busy preparing for an exciting change—our library has a brand-new home! This week, we officially moved our library to a bright, and inviting location at the front of the school, right next to the gym.
The new library is truly a welcoming space, filled with natural light, cosy soft furnishings, and the latest books for our students to explore. Once we’ve finished organising the books and set up the systems, we look forward to welcoming classes back into the library.
A big thank you to Kehani for all their hard work in the library this year and to Jess for her ongoing support at Newlands, especially for her efforts in finalising the new library space. Your dedication is greatly appreciated!
Be sure to check out the PFA's newsletter page next week to see some photos of the new library in action!

Grade 1/2s in the Library...
This term the Grade 1/2s have been practicing their research skills using non-fiction library books. We have been using the medium of Zines to record facts, procedures and other interesting information so it can be shared with others.
By the end of this term we should have our own little zine library up and running for grade 1/2s to swap with each other and learn about what makes other students curious!
