The College celebrated All Saints' Day with a Eucharist for students in Years 3-11, bringing together students and staff to reflect on the values and spirit of ASC. The service featured music from our College Choir and Guarneri Strings before our students enjoyed the traditional All Saints' Day shortbread biscuits! Year 10 Outdoor Education Camp – Honeymoon Pool

During Week 4 of Term 4, the two Year 9/10 Lock Outdoor Education classes embarked on their first camp of the year. Their home for the two-night, three-day experience was the beautiful Honeymoon Pool on the banks of the Collie River. Throughout Semester 2, the students participated in several units that has seen them develop many new skills which were put to the test on camp.

Some of the activities that the classes enjoyed included canyoning, where they had to work together to navigate down the rapids in a fun and safe manner; abseiling and climbing at the challenging but rewarding quarry and an amazing race where they had to put their leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test. During the evening, students were responsible for creating their own fires and cooking meals they had planned in our Bush Cooking unit. The students also had some downtime, which was spent talking together around the fire, roasting marshmallows, swimming in the river and playing cards.

It was a pleasure to see both classes enjoying camp and taking on challenges with such a positive and determined attitude. The students demonstrated numerous skills including planning, preparation, organisation and initiative. Everyone is to be commended on an outstanding camp and the positive way in which they represented themselves and the College. A special thank you Mr Fletcher, Ms Bykerk, Ms Tranter, Ms Beechy, Mr Feist, Ms Lane and Mr Latino for giving up their time to share this experience with us.

Year 7-10s Transformative Performance  'Metamorphosis'

Year 7–10 Drama students concluded the school year with a spectacular performance of Metamorphosis, inviting audiences into the strange and surreal world of Gregor Samsa’s journey of transformation. The performance skilfully blended humour, music, and physical theatre, bringing to life the play's profound themes of change, isolation, and self-discovery. Through bold storytelling and captivating performances, the students engaged the audience in a thought-provoking exploration of identity and the question: Has the world changed, or is it just me?Congratulations to everyone involved in this daring and memorable performance!
