VOCABULARY
Setting: The place or type of surroundings where an event takes place.
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Students can practise what the setting in their story looks like.
Place: Where is the story taking place?
Environment: How will you describe your setting? (Does it have a lot of trees or is it in a castle?)
Time: What time of the year or month is it in your setting? Is it morning or evening?
Mood: What is the feeling in your setting? (Is it a gloomy day or a bright sunny and happy morning?)
