Chinese Support Group Gathering

Friends of Donvale's Chinese Support Group is for parents and grandparents whose first language is Chinese. We offer support with translating school-related information and provide ways to help you get involved in the DCC community.

 

The next Chinese Support Group gathering will be held on Friday, November 15, in the FOD lounge from 8:30 to 10:00. The FOD lounge is located at the end of Building A, near the top playground.

 

In this meeting, Eric will explain how Schoolbox works and will help you to navigate it. Grandparents are encouraged to attend, especially if they do some of the care giving for the family.

 

If your family’s grandparents help at home, please ensure that they are kept informed about notices received on Schoolbox.

Friends of Donvale AGM coming soon!

The Friends of Donvale (FOD) Annual General Meeting is coming soon, on Monday 25 November in the Primary staffroom, at 7pm for a prompt 7.30 start:

  • Coffee and dessert as you arrive
  • Election/confirmation of committee for 2025 (all nominations have been received and confirmed, so you won't get tapped on the shoulder to be next year's Treasurer...)
  • Review of the year just gone
  • Plans for 2025, Donvale's 50-year Jubilee, when we will celebrate God's grace to us as a school, recognising that we are blessed to be a blessing.

The meeting is open to any parent of a student at Donvale, but voting for committee members is restricted to those who are members of FOD.

 

Full details of who does what, as well as an agenda for the meeting, will be published in the week before the AGM.
