Congratulations:
Todd Woodbridge Tennis State Finals
Congratulations to our Stage 3 Tennis Team who competed today at the Todd Woodbridge State Finals. All students played exceptionally well winning their pool undefeated. They made it to the qualifying finals as one of the top 8 teams out of 18. They also managed to get a photo with Casey Dellacqua! Thank you to Mrs Ditchfield for her coaching and the families who travelled to make this event possible.
National Schools Futsal Championships
Last weekend our Primary Futsal team travelled to Brisbane to play in the National Schools Futsal Competition. As the term ‘Nationals’ implies there were high-quality talented teams on display from schools as far away as Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane to name a few. Whilst the scores of the 3 days of play were not in our favour, the team played beautifully together and demonstrated some impressive maturity and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Riley, Peyton, Marley, Sree, Henley, Jack, Cooper and Georgie who represented our HTS community with excellence. Many thanks to Mr Aaron Childs for his commitment to the coaching of this team throughout the year. Also, a big thank you to all of the families of players for their support of the Futsal competitions and training sessions held all year.

School sport
Elective Sports continue this week and run for the remainder of the term. Students will be participating in one of the following: Indoor Sports $5.00, Pro Active Gym $6.00, Tennis $2.00, Lawn bowls, School Sport and Field Hockey.
All students are reminded to bring a drink bottle and a hat. Students going to Pro Active Gym are required to bring a towel. Students are also asked to please keep up to date with paying their sport fee each week.
