My Great Job!

Over the last two weeks, I have enjoyed seeing our new Kindergarten students for 2025 at their transition. Thank you to our team of teachers and educational assistants who have made this possible. It was great to have 25 families attend our Family Information Sessions last Thursday to help prepare themselves for Kindergarten life next year.

I also had the privilege of being part of 5B's Mass at the end of Week 4. It was a beautiful celebration and the students in Years 5 and 6 were so reverent at the church.

Our Primary SRC came with me to the Inverell Remembrance Day service on the 11th of the 11th. They were fantastic representatives of our school for one of their last official duties!

This week I am looking forward to spending some time with Year 10 who are on their last week of school before Work Experience,  their Copeton Dam Retreat and then Graduation Mass and Dinner on Friday 6 December.

I am also super proud of our primary futsal and tennis teams who have made it to national and state titles respectively. Read about both teams in the Sport section. What an achievement from our students, staff and families!

Year 7 Bursary

Planning for 2025

We are working on our class plans for 2025. Please inform Cathy Dyer or myself if you intend to leave Holy Trinity at the end of 2024 so we can give you the required paperwork to complete. We have had a number of enrolment applications and some of our year groups are getting close to full.

Personal Plans

Students who may have a medical condition, a learning disability or extra needs have a personal plan written to support their learning. Mrs Stewart, our Inclusion Support Teacher, has been finalising the Semester 2 Personal Plans with classroom and subject teachers. These will be emailed to families before Week 8. Please check your inbox or your junk folder.

Moving to Year 11 and 12 Update

We have been working on staffing for next year to allow our teachers to be ready to start Year 11 in 2026. We will soon be announcing our Leader of Curriculum Stage 6 who will be pivotal in our preparation of strong curriculum development. We will have 5 new staff joining the secondary team to enable staff to work on new curriculum plans for delivering preliminary HSC courses.

We are awaiting drawings from our architect to increase the capacity of our secondary staffroom. We are assessing the furnishings in the STEM classroom as well as planning for a Senior Study.

The start of the 2025 school year looks different for HTS compared to our local public schools. Please note:
