Are you first-aid trained?

We are looking for parents who are first-aid trained and willing to help out if the need arises on the day. If so, please put your details on this list, so we can contact you if needed (hopefully not).

Do you have a clothes rack or marquee we can borrow?

We are in need of a number of marquees to help shade our stalls for Rippstock. If you have one you can loan the school, please pop your details on the list and we’ll be in touch.

We’re also hunting for some clothes racks for our Ripper Boutique – so please sign up if you can lend us a clothes rack (or two or three!) for the day. And if anyone’s got a pop-up changing tent, the team would love to create a changing room space. Get in touch.

Mrs Rose is getting dunked!

Clear out your bank accounts, and take out that second mortgage because Mrs Rose has kindly offered to step into the dunk tank and be dunked by the highest bidder! We will be auctioning her off live on the main stage at 2:30 pm, with the dunking happening right after. Get your finances in order - this is a once-in-a-lifetime event!

Parents – best in show!

If you'd like to get on stage and share your talent please contact Skye Holcombe Henley at skyefhh@gmail.com - we are looking for singers, musicians, dancers, whatever talent you'd like to share!

Pots & plants – for a greener carnival

Do you have a blooming garden to share? We’re on the hunt for lovely cuttings to be potted and sold at the carnival.

And if you’ve got a little pot or cute teacup with saucer to donate – we’d love this for potting. Contact Lynn Hendrix (lynniehendrix@gmail.com) or drop your donations at the office today.

Reduce, re-use, recycle at Rippstock

As part of embedding sustainability into everything we do here at Ripponlea Primary, look out for bins placed around the school with coloured signage on what goes in which bin. We will also be collecting cans and bottles as part of the container deposit scheme, with money collected going to a charity chosen by the sustainability leaders.

Everyone can do their part to protect the environment for our next generation by looking carefully at the signage provided on the bins, which will look like this:

Please also remember to bring your Keep Cups along to reduce waste at the coffee stand on the day!

Rippstock Wine & Chocolate

During your next Dan Murphy’s or Coles shop, grab an extra few bottles of wine and / or individually wrapped choccies and drop them off at reception.

They don’t need to be at any particular price point - just grab whatever you can.

We’ll take it all!

We are also hoping for volunteers to help with the stall, so grab your bestie and put your names down on our volunteer list

Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask Belindamead79@gmail.com or Amelia.Michael@swatchgroup.com.au
