Year 8 Outdoor Ed Horse Riding & Activities 

Our Year 8 students have been embracing adventure at The Ranch on the Mornington Peninsula over the past few weeks, with activities like horse riding, mountainboarding, and conquering the Pamper Pole!

This unique adventure park provided the perfect setting for students to step out of their comfort zones, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

ACC Volleyball

Congratulations to the Year 9A ACC Volleyball, Year 10A and Year 10 B ACC Volleyball teams! All three teams won their ACC Grand Finals at Dandenong on Tuesday, 19 November.

ACC Junior Debating & Public Speaking Success

On 11th November, ten Mazenod students from Year 7 and 8 competed against a range of other ACC schools in both the Open Debating and Open Public Speaking competitions. 

Thomas Garrie (Year 7), Nidhish Bhatia (Year 7), Ryan Susilo (Year 7), Daniel Bonar (Year 8), Jacobs Chen (Year 8) and Benjamin Leng (Year 8) represented the College with exemplary skill and sportsmanship in Division 1 Debating. The team convincingly won all three of their debates, taking out the championship win for 2024.

Our Public Speakers, Nicholas Curtis (Year 7), Luke Peacock (Year 7), Nabh Grover (Year 8) and Jason Meng (Year 8) were also incredibly successful in both the prepared and impromptu speech rounds, taking out the overall championship win for 2024.

Our Year 7 and 8 Debating students finished their Debating season on a high with three out of four teams continuing their undefeated season in the DAV Junior Secondary Competition. A couple of these students volunteered to debate two days in a row, showing impressive dedication to the program.
