The Final Term

Welcome to the fourth and final term of the school year. It is important that we acknowledge how quickly the year has progressed as we enter this final stretch. We appreciate the effort our students have shown in settling into their routines and remaining focused on their learning.

We also thank all the parents who have volunteered their time or contributed items for our Bunnings BBQ fundraiser tomorrow. Your willingness to support our school community activities is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

We are committed to maintaining a productive and successful environment for the remainder of the term. We have various activities and important learning ahead, including adjusting our daily routines, which is detailed below.

Daylight Savings Time and School Start Times

As we adjust to Daylight Savings Time, we want to highlight both the benefits and challenges of longer days. While the extra daylight can be enjoyable, it may also make it difficult to get up and going in the morning.

To ensure that our students receive the most out of their education, we strongly encourage all students to be at school between 8:40 AM and 8:50 AM. Students go into class at 8:50 AM, and instruction starts promptly at 8:55 AM

Remember: Even a small delay of 5 minutes each day can result in a significant loss of instructional time. By arriving on time, your child can start each day feeling prepared and engaged.

This term, we have a variety of exciting activities and events planned. Our fortnightly newsletter is the primary communication tool for sharing updates about school happenings and important information. For example, in this newsletter are details on providing input into class placements.

Please make sure to read the school newsletter regularly to stay informed and prepare for upcoming events.

Thank you for your continued support.
