Mrs Kroek & Mr Gullo

Green Class have been enjoying their learning with Mr Gullo, Mrs Kroek and Miss Simone so far this term. It has been great to see them trying their very best.

HSIE: Green Class have been loving learning about Italy with Mr Gullo. We can’t wait to learn even more throughout the term about the Italian language and culture.

Creative Arts: Green Class have started exploring various artists and art periods. We began by learning about Frida Kahlo. Students also enjoyed creating some Halloween-inspired artworks last week, using layering and spray techniques.

Maths: We concluded our study of time last week with a scavenger hunt challenge. Students worked in groups of three to find task cards outside, read the clock faces to the minute, and then checked their answers by scanning the QR codes on the cards with an iPad. This week, we will be looking at 3D shapes for our additional Maths focus.

Literacy: Green Class have been working hard during Literacy, especially during independent ‘Your Turn’ task time. During this time, they complete various activities such as their spelling booklet task, writing task, Wordcraft spelling word writing, and more.

Everyone is loving this bit of independence and showing great responsibility to make sure all their learning tasks are completed.
