Leadership

This week we took possession of the new bright and spacious art room with the relocation of resources, furniture and equipment from the old art room in readiness for art/craft classes to resume next week. Thanks to Antoinette and the many helpers who supported this significant move. If you have the opportunity, stop by and visit the new impressive space.

Construction on the new buildings is progressing well with in ground plumbing and electrical cabling work undertaken over the last couple of weeks. The concrete slabs will be poured in the coming weeks.

Term 4 is always a busy time with planning for the following year with staffing, class selections, budgets, enrolments and transition activities. In the next couple of weeks, we will be creating classes for next year. We are finalising class structures and are planning for 13 classes across the school. The class structure will be shared in the next edition of the Dhumbadjirri.

There are many considerations that go into ensuring classes are balanced. If families are intending to leave our school community because of relocation or other reasons, could you please advise us as soon as possible. A phone call to the office, or an email to the school or my email account would be most appreciated.

On Tuesday at 5.30pm there will be a presentation on the 2024 Annual Report. The Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community and is based on 2024 results. This report is available on the school website under the policy section. The presentation will take place in the Babajen.
