Wellbeing Lessons

🌟 Term 4 Wellbeing Update

We’re off to a wonderful start this term, with many students eager and ready to learn!

Foundation, Grade 1 & Grade 2: Our younger learners have been re-engaging with our school expectations through our Expected Behaviour Monsters — a fun way to connect with our Behaviour Roadmap, school values, and Keystones.

  • Foundation are continuing their journey through Unit 8 of the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) curriculum, exploring Positive Gender Relationships with topics such as Fair and Friendly Play and Keeping Ourselves Safe. A bonus, some preps got to do their fairness flower with their grandparents.

  • Grades 1 & 2 will begin their Sexuality Education journey next week, using Vanessa Hamilton’s Talking the Talk program to support age-appropriate, inclusive, and positive learning conversations.

Grades 3–6: Our older students have jumped straight into their Talking the Talk lessons with Vanessa Hamilton. These sessions are designed in line with the Department of Education’s Health Curriculum and the RRRR framework. Each year level is engaging with content tailored to their age and stage — including short videos, discussions, and reflective activities.

The focus across all lessons is on positive, factual, and respectful learning about growing up and understanding our bodies. Students have approached the topics with great maturity — and, of course, a few giggles along the way!

You might notice some curious conversations popping up at home — this is a wonderful opportunity to continue those learning moments together.

It’s been fantastic to see students engaging so thoughtfully in these important lessons about health, respect, and self-understanding.
