Celebrations

It is important at this time of the year to stop and celebrate where we are and what we have achieved.  I woudl like to take this opportunity in the second last newsletter to thank these special groups:

  1. School Council Committee: Thank you to my current school Council as they have been amazing throughout the year and attended our meetings and reviewed our data, policies etc... and provided feedback on behalf of the whole community for us to continue our ongoing improvement journey.
  2. School Council President: I need to make special mention to Peter Van Buuren who will be finishing up as our school Council President next March, as his daughter Isabella goes off to Secondary school. Peter has support not only the school but me in my Principal role for 5 years. Thanks, Peter, for your high drive for community and being part of many events and activities across our school for many years.

3. School Crossing Supervisors: Please make sure you also thank our Crossing Supervisors by the end of the term as they are important to us to ensure our children get safely across the rod and home!

4. Parent & Grandparent Volunteers:  Thank you to the parent/grandparent volunteers that we have who come in to classrooms or assist on excursions or even our Camps. With your help we can offer more to our students. Your support in classrooms help individual students with more allocated 1:1 praise and assistance. The changing of home texts also greatly help our teacher manage their time in classrooms more effectively. It would be great to see more volunteers next year.

5. Administration Team: OMG what can I say about my amazing Admin team who are just wonderful in every sense of the word. their effeciiacy, effectiveness and personality of friednliness and helpness is a true asset to our school. I thank you for everything you do, especially all of the tasks that noone ever sess.

6. Year 6 Graduates: To my Year 6 Graduates, I want to say thank you for your efforts throughout the year. You have been ana amzing bunch of year six stduents and you were actually the Year Preps when I first started in 2019. You and I begun our journey at PVNPS together. This will definitely be a year to remember. You have shown courage, confidence and enthusiasm throughout the year and it was great that we could provide you with all the experiences of what Primary schooling should be about. I hope you have enjoyed this last term and the very last few experiences with your PVNPS friends and teachers.

Your Graduation night is coming soon and I will be there to congratulate you all, including your teachers and ES staff.
