Learning Expo – Monday 15th September
We celebrated Term 3’s Learning Expo on Monday, 15th September. Thank you to all families and community members who attended to celebrate the learning and achievements of our students. It was wonderful to see the energy and pride our students demonstrated as they shared their work.
Term 4 SunSmart Policy
As we begin Term 4, it’s important to be SunSmart and protect children from the rising UV levels. Hats are compulsory, so please ensure your child’s hat is clearly labelled. Hats can be purchased from the front office if needed. All students are expected to wear their hats when outside. Sunscreen is encouraged, and classroom teachers have sunscreen available for students. If your child requires sensitive sunscreen, please provide it and let your classroom teacher know. Staying hydrated is also essential during these warmer months.
Parent & Carer Cuppa – Wednesday 15th October
We warmly invite parents and carers to join us in Djak Tjarra at 9:00am next Wednesday October 15 for our next Parent & Carer Cuppa. Carolyn from RIAC will be attending to provide support with NDIS, advocacy, carer services, and more. We will also continue our session from Jared Cooney Horvath on Sleep, Tech, and Stress.

Walk to School
Over the next three Fridays, families are invited to join some of our staff at 8:30am for Walk to School. This week, we will meet at the RSL Club carpark to walk together to school. All families are welcome to participate and enjoy a healthy start to the day.
Swimming Program
Our swimming program will take place in the last week of October and the first week of November. Further details and schedules will be shared closer to the time.
Save the Date – School Closure Day in Term 4
Please mark Thursday, 21st November on your calendars. This will be a student-free day for staff planning in preparation for 2026
Last Day of School
Term 4 concludes on Monday, 15th December. Please note this date as the final day for students.
Prayer for the Week
This week, we pray for the term ahead:
Loving God,
As we begin this new term, guide us in our learning, our actions, and our relationships. Help us to be kind, respectful, and caring to one another, and to make the most of the opportunities before us.
Bless our students, families, and staff with health, joy, and safety throughout the term.
Amen.
God Bless,
