In Writing, we have been learning how to write a persuasive piece of writing using persuasive devices such as rhetorical questions, exaggeration and emotive language.
In Mathematics, we have been learning about fractions, including halves, quarters and eigths.
For Topic, we have been investigating some of the games that children played in the past as well as some of the popular toys and the materials that they were made out of.












































Over the coming weeks, we will be completing all of our end of year assessments.
Reading, Writing and Spelling:
Our focus texts for Weeks 5 and 6 are:
During Writing lessons students will be sharpening their recount skills by reflecting on some their favourite and most memorable moments from this year. In Week 6, we will revisiting narrative texts.
Mathematics: During weeks 5 and 6, we will be revising some of the key concepts that we have been learning about this year as well as completing a number of assessments.
Topic: For Topic, students will have an opportunity to share the items that they bring in from home.
Respectful Relationships: Our school focus in Respectful Relationships this term is Positive Gender Relationships.
