What's been happening this week?

3/4 READING AND MATHS

What a busy week of learning we have had in 3/4! 

We have focused on establishing our Reading routines and working in a calm and focused manner to complete our reading tasks.  We cannot wait to start Bookclub and explore texts in depth. 

In Maths, we continued our understanding of place value by making, naming and ordering numbers. We really enjoyed making numbers using MAB and comparing our numbers to our peers. 

CRICKET 

Our grade 3/4 students have been practising their cricket skills in PE this week.  They were learning how to catch and throw a tennis ball, and had to have a go at striking using the cricket bat.

FIRST BUDDIES SESSION

Our Grade 5s and Preps has their first Buddies session this week.  Using our school value, CREATIVITY, students worked together to create drawing including a stick!
