Welcome to the 2026 School Year

Welcome to the 2026 school year! We are delighted to warmly welcome all new students, staff, and community members to our college. As we begin this exciting year together, we look forward to embracing our shared commitment to being lifelong learners. Whether students are just beginning their secondary education or preparing to complete their final year, we are proud to support them at every stage of their educational journey. Our college community is built on faith, compassion, and a strong belief in the potential of every learner.

Throughout 2026, our focus will be on collaboratively developing and strengthening our Learning and Teaching plans to align with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, VCE Study Designs, and the VET programs we offer at the College. We are committed to continually inspiring all teachers to be Expert Teachers, through ongoing professional learning and collaboration. Our staff strive to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that meets the needs of all learners.

Building a strong learning culture remains central to our work. We are dedicated to inclusive practices that ensure every student receives their full learning entitlement and feels supported, valued, and challenged. Assessment will be collaboratively developed across MMCRC, enabling staff to clearly identify evidence of student success and support an accelerated rate of progress for every child. Literacy and numeracy will remain a key focus across the college, strengthening the foundation for success in every subject.

Guided by our commitment to faith-inspired, hope-filled futures and educational excellence, we look forward to a year of growth, collaboration, and achievement. Together with our families and wider community, we are excited to make 2026 a positive and rewarding year for all.

• Parent Teacher Interviews March 26th and March 30th
• Last Day of Term 1 April 1st
