VCE DATA - Teacher Meetings
Each year, our teaching team analyses the previous year's VCE data to identify strengths and areas for development. It is a fascinating process and supports all teachers to understand the skills and knowledge our students need to master to be most successful in their final year.
One of the most interesting anecdotes from the data so far is that students who performed above what they were predicted to achieve (based on the GAT result), were students who regularly attended study boost. It was great to see so many students at VCE study boost on Thursday this week - a great start!
Year 7 Family Night
It was great to see so many of our new families and students coming along to Family Night to meet teachers, hear about our programs and curriculum, and attend the Parent Engagement Presentations. One important message to parents in the evening was the huge amount of information parents can gather about their child's learning, and learning behaviours, from Maestro Dashboards. I encourage all parents to log on and take a look.
