School and Family Communication

As a large school, we use a range of communication platforms to ensure families receive timely and relevant information. The attached Communication @ TGSHS document outlines each communication channel used by the school, its purpose, and when it should be used, including key email addresses and contact points.

When communicating with the school, families are reminded to do so in line with the Parent and Community Code of Conduct. Please also allow for a reasonable response time of up to 24 hours for emails and non-urgent enquiries.

Important: Please ensure communication@thegapshs.eq.edu.au is marked as a safe sender so whole-school and year-level communications are not filtered to junk mail.
