It was great to observe the Aqua Aware Swimming Program in action on the final day of lessons. Our students are to be commended on their participation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn and strengthen their existing swimming and water safety skills. Congratulations to all of our students who earned certificates by participating in two or more sessions! Take care in the water over the summer, remembering the water safety skills you have learned and revisited this term.

Over the last few weeks all classes focused on developing and practising their athletics skills in preparation for our annual School Athletics Sports Day, which was held on Friday 5th December. It was wonderful to come together in our house colours to engage in different athletic activities, striving to achieve our best and fostering great team spirit! It was great to have some of our families attend to enjoy the events and share in a picnic lunch with the students. Our students are to be commended for their resilience in the warm weather. The oranges were a welcome treat – thank you to those parents and staff who helped prepare and serve these on the day.

For our final two Health and PE sessions we enjoyed celebrating our learning by playing some fun whole class games together. It was so lovely to witness our enjoyment in being active together as class groups.

Well done to all of our students on a brilliant year of learning and achieving in Health and PE and have a lovely break. Looking forward to another active and enjoyable year in 2026!
