Dear Parents and Carers,
Some of you may be aware of the Council of Catholic School Parents organisation. It operates as a voice and advocate for parents and carers of children in NSW Catholic Schools. CCSP develops tools to assist parents and cares to engage with their child's education and have been operating since 1995. Their online newsletter, Parent Talk, is pulished twice a term. Some topics in their latest newsletter include:
- Information about and registration links for upcoming e-safety webinars (23rd May, 20th August and 12th November)
- A Food for Families video with budget friendly shopping and lunchbox ideas
- Information about the harms of vaping
- Helping anxious kids with 'worry stacking'
- Parent advice for posting images of your children online
- An outline of updated best practise guidelines for anaphylaxis prevention and management in schools
