Senior Camp

At the time of writing (something o'clock in the night), we would like to say that we have been extremely proud of our Senior Students at Sovereign Hill Camp.

Respect - Our students were amongst the best-behaved students of all the schools at the camp.  We saw excellent manners at the table, respect shown during all performances and presentations, cheerful compliance with instructions, consideration for other patrons and kindness towards each other.

Our children were responsible when looking after their belongings, themselves and each other in their groups.  They helped each other find gold, made sure all group members were accounted for when wandering around and were calm and sensible when looking around inside the shops and historic buildings.

Some of the examples we spotted for resilience included showing extreme patience while panning for gold (and waiting for dinner on the first night!), going up tall towers and lookouts, soldiering on when tired and displaying varing degrees of tolerance for the variety of noises and smells emitted by their roommates.

We hope you all enjoyed the photos on Facebook. Here's a couple more just in case you missed out!
