Regional Swimming 

Congratulations to Michael Bamford (year 8) and Delara Musavi Shavazi (year 7) who represented Mullauna at Tuesday’s Regional Swimming event at Aquanation in Ringwood.

Merely making it through to this level of competition is a fantastic achievement from both students, which is a testament to the countless hours of training that they’ve both invested in their own time.

Michael, who competed in the 50m Backstroke, shaved a whole second from his personal best time and competed admirably in the demanding 200m Individual Medley.

Delara also achieved a personal best, this time in the 100m Freestyle event, finishing in a blisteringly quick time of 1:15.

Here’s to many more years of Regional (and perhaps State) level Swimming from them!
