Athletics Carnival

On Monday we held our annual Athletics Carnival. The weather held out and it was a great day all round. There is lots of talent on our sporting field! Again sportsmanship was a highlight.

A big thank you to Lisa Oliver for organising our canteen and her band of helpers throughout the day. Thank you for everyone's support - the mini pizzas were a hit!

Thank you to the many families who joined us to cheer on our incredibly committed Joeys at the Athletics Carnival. We are blessed to have such a positive and engaged school community to help our students shine in everything they do. As always, staff were impressed by the level of commitment and school spirit shown by the entire school community.

The relays will be held Week 1, Term 2 at school.
The Athletics Carnival presentation of ribbons and certificates will be at the Week 2 Awards Assembly in the MPC (Friday 10th May at 2:30pm)

How lucky are we to have our own photographer in our school. A massive thank you to Miss Crane and Mrs Huard who snapped away (when they could whilst supervising students) and the many hours Miss Crane puts into editing the photos.

Diocesan Cross Country

On Tuesday, students travelled to Griffith to compete in the Diocesan Cross Country.

Competition was fierce on a tough track. Congratulations to our superstars for crossing the finish line, especially after all their hard work the previous day at the Athletics Carnival.

Jarred, Henry, Miranda, Heidi, Jemima, Sienna, Zayne, Olivia, Mackenzie, Oliver, Scout, Shay, Aivah, Indy, Abigail, Zoey, Hamish, Archer, George & Will.

A huge congratulations to Hamish and Indy! Our Diocese Cross Country Champions are heading away to the next stage at Polding Cross Country.
