Year 7
Students in Year 7 History have been engaged with hands-on and creative lessons to demonstrate their newly learnt knowledge of time, date and chronological order. They have also been provided with a chance to demonstrate their archaeological skills by looking at physical evidence and making relevant connections and interpretations.
Year 12 Modern History
Year 12 taught how to read a Modern History HSC marking criteria which enforced essay writing expectations in the HSC. Students were provided with an AI generated response to mark and provide feedback on using the HSC/NESA marking guidelines. This was a valuable exercise in learning the shortcoming of AI technology, but also the elements required to produce an excellent essay response in conjunction with Stalin’s political transformation of the Soviet Union.
HSIE staff would like to thank all those families that attended Camden High School’s Year 7 meet the teacher and Open Night on Monday of Week 8.
