Principal's Report

Dear families

It's been a terrific week for Macedon Primary School with the announcement of Andrew's provisional appointment as the substantive principal.

Working Bee

Thank you to the group of parents and staff who attended the working bee over the weekend. The work certainly made a huge difference and the new plants in the tub near the front door was a lovely touch.

Clubs

Students have continued to show enthusiasm for the lunchtime clubs program with all sessions fully booked and more student led clubs being organised. We currently have students establishing the following clubs:

Games - a group of students created their own board game and are now going to teach other students how to play. The game board is quite intricate and engaging.

Creative Club - while in the initial stages and not ready for clients just yet, this club is all about decorating the asphalt areas with chalk.

Hunter Club - the students working on this club are aged 6 and 7 years! Hunter is a game similar to 'hide and seek' and just in case you didn't know, the 'hunter' wears their hat inside out so everyone knows who is 'it.' To support these youngsters, this will start off as a classroom club.

Royal Children's Hospital Appeal - Levi and Holly

As of 1.32pm Wednesday 20 March, the total is at $471.00. Levi's goal was  to raise $500.00 - I'm sure we can get there!
