Visit From Constable Erik Woods

On Tuesday morning we had an exciting visit from our new local police officer; Constable Erik Woods.

Students were treated to a very interesting and informative talk from Constable Erik about what his role is in our community. We asked lots of questions such as “Have you ever been in a high-speed chase?” and “Why have you got a gun?”

Constable Erik was very happy to answer all our questions and told us lots of really interesting things about his work such as; some days he works only in the police station and other days he patrols our community in the police car. He signs forms and helps people in trouble and keeps us all safe and happy.

At the end of Constable Erik’s chat, one of our Art Captain’s (Cooper Blomfield) presented Erik with a pile of beautiful artworks from our clever student artists to hang in the Macedon police station to brighten it up.

Constable Erik invited us to visit him any time to see the artworks and to say hello. Thank you for visiting Erik! It was great!!
