Term 1, Week 9

Last Sunday, 24th March was Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week.

Father Kingsley will be leading us in the Stations of the Cross this Thursday at 10am in the church. The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation.

Congratulations to Ryder and Andy who made their Sacrament of Reconciliation last Thursday, 21st March.

First Lesson will be on Wednesday 1st May 2024

Second Lesson will be on Wednesday 8th May 2024

Third Lesson will be on Wednesday 15th May 2024

Fourth Lesson will be on Wednesday 22nd May 2024

Fifth Lesson will be on Wednesday 29th May 2024

Reflection Day will be on Friday 31st May 2024

The Sacrament will be celebrated on Sunday 2nd June which is the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ

Children who have made the Sacrament of Reconciliation are able to make their First Holy Communion. Please see Sarah-Jane if you have any questions or would like to find out more. A letter from St Brigid's Parish regarding the First Holy Communion will be sent home soon.
