Wellbeing at Moriac
The Wellbeing Hub
The Wellbeing Hub has experienced a surge in attendance during lunchtimes throughout the term, as students eagerly engage in various activities such as art and craft, board games, loom band creations, and mindfulness activities.
Berry Street
Term 1 has seen the introduction of a number of Berry Street initiative's including Brain Breaks, Mindfulness and Ready to Learn Scales. Ready to Learn Scales refer to a tool used for students to self assess their own readiness for learning, taking into account various factors beyond academic abilities. This could include aspects like social and emotional well-being, communication and behaviour. The goal is to provide a more holistic view of a student's capabilities and challenges, enabling teachers to tailor their support to individual needs of our students.
