¡Hola desde la biblioteca! I hope our Newlands community is starting to feel settled into 2024. I am feeling settled into the Library now, we have lots of students borrowing, library lessons for grades 1-4 in full swing, and Book Club orders coming in as well.
Shout out to the future librarians of Newlands!
Firstly I would like to thank the library leaders AND all my extra helpers coming to the library on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11am to help out. These students (and many more not pictured) have been essential to the library always looking beautiful and organised!

Above you can see Brock helping to scan books during borrowing time, Ramona in front of an empty 'Ready to Shelve' trolley (very rare sight, it's usually incredibly full!), and Ezra and Savannah helping library users to borrow and return books during lunch time!
