It has been wonderful returning to teach the Foundation, Grade 1s and Grade 2 students this term. They have been sharing what they have learnt in Term One and building on this knowledge with me. We have been creating a beat and playing along to different beats using instruments and body percussion.

The Foundation students particularly enjoyed playing along with shaker eggs to the ‘I Know a Chicken’ song.

We have also been learning more about Pitch and recognising high and low pitch sounds in music. It was wonderful to hear different students give me examples of high and low sounds with their own voice.
