The Last Supper

Jesus is anoited at Bethany and then He sends His disciples to go and prepare for the Passover meal. He gives them specific instructions on where to go and what they should do.

The disciples go and find a room and prepare for the meal. During the meal Jesus washes the feet of his disciples in a perfect example of a Leader being a servant to others. Then when it was evening and they all gathered, Jesus said to the disciples, "I tell you that one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me".

Then Jesus shared the "Lord's Supper with them". They sang a Hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.

Jesus tells Peter "that before the cock crows three times you will have said three times that you do not know me."

They all came to a place called Gethsemane. Jess said to the disciples, sit here while I pray. He took Peter, James and John with him. He said,

"The sorrow in my heart is so great that it almost crushes me. Stay here and keep watch". He went little farther on, threw himself on the ground and prayed that if possible he might not have to go through that time of suffering.
